Arugam Bay is a bit dislocated from the standard Sri Lanka Visiting from Trincomalee or Ella is the best options to reach the bay.
From down south or hikkaduwa, mirissa,unawatuna, Hiriketiya, Thangalle,
Public bus is the most affordable option to go to Arugambay, from Galle bus station every morning 5.15am have a bus to Ampara!
They have available seats every day!
Its a red color bus and it is parked next to Galle ground! It reach to Weligama 5:50 am
You can get the bus by waiting at the main bus stops in Galle to Thangalle!
Siyambalanduwa
When the bus reach to siyambalanduwa you can get down from the road and catch the bus going to Panama,it will stop in Arugambay! Otherwise, the bus called Ampara through Panama,
Cost from galle to siyambalanduwa 950 lkr
Siyambalanduwa to arugambay 180 lkr

when you get down from Pothuvil you can take tuk tuk to your hotel will cost 700lkr to 1000lkr.
