Hikkaduwa

The start of the beach near the main bus station and small harbor is typically busy in morning and evening, and towards the middle there are dozens of boats that line the shore.4 km long sandy beach with Cristal clear salt water. this long beach Hikkaduwa beach situated beside the two big lagoons, from south and north, one is rally closed to the city and its called Hikkaduwa lagoon, and other south side lagoon called Rajgama Lake( lagoon) those are fully covered in mangrove and home for thousands birds and reptiles, and don't forget to try best sea foods from the lagoon, best shrimps and crabs are best in mangrove.

 When if you visited there were thousands of fish and five big turtles swimming between everyone right near the shore line! We’re sure it’s always made superb holiday in Hikkaduwa snorkeling it was incredible to see.

The “main beach” in Hikkaduwa is small but beautiful. It is common to see surf schools and sunbathers down on this part of Hikkaduwa Beach. This is also where you can catch a boat to go snorkeling which we talk about early.
